Actually 1966.

This is the 1966 lineup of supporting acts... And a quick check shows that August 21st fell on Sunday in 1966, not '65.

This would have been one of the Beatles' very last live performances (other than the "Let It Be" rooftop jam) on the tour that ended at Candlestick Park in San Francisco, immortally described in Tom Wolfe's "The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test."

The Beatles show that Kesey, et al. attended (and was immortalized in "Electric Kool-Aid") was on August 31, 1965 at the Cow Palace.
