Looks like this could make a cool alternate ending to High Sierra. Ida brings down Bogie.
Too bad Ida and Barbara Stanwyck never co-starred in a female buddy western -- "Brooklyn & Brit vs. the West." (Lupino didn't make many oaters, but Stanwyck certainly did, and was invariably excellent in them.)
