The guy on the right looks really familiar. Anybody have a clue/guess?
The guy on the right looks really familiar. Anybody have a clue/guess?Sam Rockwell in one of his more understated roles. . . ?
In her autobiography, Ms. George Harrison (Patti Boyd, standing in back of George) says after this, George was afraid of going out in public.
Just rewatched the chapter of the Anthology that includes this part - George dismissing the "burnouts" he saw on that visit to Haight-Ashbury as the screen shows footage of dancing hippies is one of the premiere moments of the whole documentary.
I think I've solved the mystery, I'm pretty certain it's the enigmatic Magic Alex (also a candidate for Great Con Artists of the 20th Century).

I'd say you're right on that being Alex. And yes, he sure as hell conned Lennon who always seemed to be on the lookout for a great new con artist.
