Hubba hubba. I just saw Spectre of the Rose on Netflix Instant. The screenplay is pure Ben Hecht, but I have to give credit for the look of the film to co-director and cinematographer Lee Garmes. Ballet noir!

I have Spectre of the Rose on VHS, definitely an overlooked gem. Has it surfaced anywhere on DVD?
