Washington -- Three House members talk about the upcoming Congressional investigation into Marine Corps. recruiting and training practices. Several prominent reports of abuse and death among trainees, including the cases of Pvt. Harry Hancock and Pvt. Lynn McClure, who both died in training, caused there to be question of whether the Marine Corp was capable of making the radical changes that were needed to its past practices. House members said they have been assured of a Congressional investigation into Marine Corps recruiting and training practices that have allegedly resulted in death and injury to young men. (1976)
