That's odd. The Wonderful World Of Disney was aired over the NBC network, if'n I recollect correctly...

No, it debuted on ABC and remained there for about five years before moving over to NBC.

Strictly speaking it debuted as "Disneyland" and was made at least partially to promote and pay for the Anaheim amusement park. The original televsion version of "The Mickey Mouse Club" and "Zorro" also ran on ABC.
