Maybe you need a new series "They Were High School Chums".
The big 2. True revolutionaries. True musicians. Listen to their album "Bongo Fury".
Or "We Wuz Drinkin' Buddies."
... whereas Zappa always projected LOOK AT ME.
There's a great BBC doc on Van Vliet on YouTube at the moment. Heartily recommended with tons of great footage I've never seen before.
Two fellas that were American Originals any way you look at it, or listen to it.
