Charlie Feathers is one of the great unknowms of this genre. Recently, CDs of his stuff -- including previously unrecorded items -- have been issued. I urge you to listen.

Yes indeed, I was just thinking Gene Vincent, Hank, Minnie Pearl, Jimmy Dickens and Red Foley Charlie Feathers and (above) Flatt and Scruggs, truly you are spoiling me!
(and thats not to mention the Soul Stirrers series!)

Charlie would also fit nicely into the "Great Madmen of the 20th Century" series.

Wand ahas already appeared in this blog x4 (two When Legends Gather, one Musical Indulgence and an Artist in Action shot.) Not that one can have too much Wanda.2009 will, I believe, see her inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame, which will me a lot to her and her hubby Wendell.
