The Explanation
(for those who require one)

And, of course, that is what all of this is -- all of this: the one song, ever changing, ever reincarnated, that speaks somehow from and to and for that which is ineffable within us and without us, that is both prayer and deliverance, folly and wisdom, that inspires us to dance or smile or simply to go on, senselessly, incomprehensibly, beatifically, in the face of mortality and the truth that our lives are more ill-writ, ill-rhymed and fleeting than any song, except perhaps those songs -- that song, endlesly reincarnated -- born of that truth, be it the moon and June of that truth, or the wordless blue moan, or the rotgut or the elegant poetry of it. That nameless black-hulled ship of Ulysses, that long black train, that Terraplane, that mystery train, that Rocket '88', that Buick 6 -- same journey, same miracle, same end and endlessness."

A pretty far walk from "The Railway Children", but then Miss Agutter is surely one of God's loveliest creatures.

Sex education for sure when I was twelve and saw her wonderful au natural scenes in Nicolas Roeg's "Walkabout." I understand she is now a well regarded still photographer.

I'll always remember our local UHF station actually running WALKABOUT uncut--nude scenes intact--circa 1975. I was suddenly a Jenny fan forever!

Her legs alone make Logan's Run worth checking out every few months.

She looks a little worried. Is she late (for a very important date, that is)?

I almost didn't recognize Jenny with her underwear on. Marvelous.

I was just a teen when I saw the love scene in "American Werewolf" when she is being pleasured and knew that was the secret to happiness.

Seeing her in Logan's Run was the first time I had ever seen a woman naked in a movie.

Thank you, Jenny, for the education.

I remember her most "vividly" from Equus. Great actress and, dare I say it, brave.

I agree with Tommy O'C

Jumpin' Jesus in a basket of chicken... How old was she when this was taken? Definitely post-WALKABOUT and pre-LOGAN'S RUN.

The white rabbit is seen in the opening scene of 'I Start Counting' (rel 1968) ... in her bedroom. The scene show her putting on a school uniform in great detail. She was born in Dec 1952. Do the maths :)
