Pretty cool. This is the most decorated combat soldier in United States History.
I read a recent biography of Bill Mauldin, Mauldin: a life up front, and during filming of Red Badge of Courage Audie considered Mauldin an arty fruit. I was surprised to read that. I'd have figured Murphy would have been a fan.
