I think we'll all be happy to know that a bunch of pre-code Cagneys are coming to DVD in March: Picture Snatcher, Lady Killer, Mayor of Hell and Smart Money (his only feature co-star with Edward G. Robinson) in another Warner Bros. gangster collection.

The intensity just leaps out of him - any attempt to alter that thru any kind of make-up just reinforces it. A beautiful image.
