I had briefly worked with Roy just as he was about to get well-known, at Douglas College, NJ. I finished my grad work, cross town (Rutgers) and left for a new job in 1966, when this photo taken. I kidded him about what he was doing (I was not in art dept)...one day he drove up in a brand new Porsche. Soon after, he left his teaching job for NY..and yes, I am up there at 78.

I had no idea Diane Arbus took photos of famous people like Roy Lichenstein. Live and learn...
Oh yeah, she did quite a few profile photos for magazines. This is from a series of portraits of New York artists.
