4 great iconoclasts - but the 2 great artists for my money are donald and alejandro
I'd say Cammell and Anger (with Hopper running a close third . . . I've never much liked Jodorowsky's work). Still, what a dissolute looking bunch! Something tells me an account of what that quartet was up to before that photo was taken is not fir for a family blog.

Ha ha. I saw this and immediately thought of you and this blog, I was in the process of scanning it to send to you and thought I would check the blog first, glad I did!
Also... I am reminded that Donald Cammell was born at Out Look Tower a camera obscura in Edinburgh originally this house was fitted up by Patrick Geddes in 1892 as "The nucleus of the University of the Future for all neo-technic thinking and teaching" itreflects a panoramic view of the City onto a white table (see more here http://www.camera-obscura.co.uk)I think the house in Hollywood that Cammell shot himself in was called Look Out tower. When I visited Out Look Tower I asked the guide about Cammell,puzzled she said "The powerboat racer?"
I wonder who the designated driver was. Great pic, great blog.
