I remember them. During the miner's strike of '84 (Thatcher, Cruise missiles and Ronnie Raygun...) I used to work in a bank. Most lunchtimes I would walk along Argyle St and drop a quid or two in the anarchists' collection buckets. The cash was to support the miners and their families. They also helped me print some Nicaraguan solidarity leaflets once.
