I just thought I'd mention that I hosted an evening of silent film and improv jazz (Two Chaplins, the Keystone short A Busy Day--Chaplin in drag!--and The Kid) featuring Vince Guaraldi's longtime drummer Jerry Granelli smacking that kit around like it was Curly. The guy is still a percussive powerhouse (check out his new disc Sandhills Reunion...it's a music and spoken word disc I actually enjoy!).
